Current local priorities

• Shirley North ward priority Drug related ASB The team have received concerns of drug related ASB in several block on Peter Kennedy Court, this particularly around later afternoon and early evening time where there have been reports of school children causing the ASB in the block.
• Motor Vehicle Crime ASB Reports of vehicle related ASB have been reported by local resident of Shirley Oaks. Their concerns have been discussed in Ward panels and community engagement events and particularly focussed on dangerous driving/speeding along Primrose Lane which is the main connecting road around the Shirley Oaks estate.
• Shoplifting Following an increase in recorded shoplifting offences and some good positive work from the team, the ward panel were keen to maintain the work by adding it as one of the priorities. It has been discussed as a ward priority at every ward panel since and the community concern survey highlights that shoplifting is a priority for residents of the ward
