Current local priorities

• Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) MET priority - To reduce crime and the fear of crime on Mayfield Ward and to increase public confidence. The public have requested presence for VAWG related police activity around South Park, Green Lane and Goodmayes Lane.
• Patrols of South Park and the surrounding roads to tackle increased issues of drug activities and ASB.
• Motor Vehicle Crime – Theft of/from motor vehicles is one of the most common crimes across Mayfield Ward. Issues regarding speeding have also been raised to local officers, particularly around South Park Drive, Morrab Gardens, Dawlish Drive and Eton Road.
