Current local priorities

• Theft To reduce incidents of Theft in the Earl’s Court area. In particular to include parcel theft, theft of pedal cycle & shoplifting specifically. The incidences of theft can be monitored via the amount of reported incidents to police & AUROR including ASB Reports. This can be achieved by the continuation of high-visibility foot and cycle patrols, vehicle patrols, variation of shifts to include late and night shifts, targeted use of stop and search tactics, and target hardening. We also provide crime prevention advice and engagement via social media. Earl’s Court NPT officers regularly change their shifts to combat theft related offences, and conduct stop and search where grounds exist.
• Drugs: To combat Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) linked to drugs in Earl's Court. This can be monitored by the number of crime reports, intelligence reports and ASB reports relating to drugs, as well as the anecdotal evidence seen by officers, Ward Panel members and local residents. This can be achieved by a combination of high-visibility patrols within the highlighted area, joint working with RBK&C Street Enforcement Team officers, robust enforcement of PSPO legislation and effective use of CPWs/CPNs to deter offenders.
• Anti Social Behaviour To combat Anti Social Behaviour in Earl's Court. The incidences of Anti Social Behaviour can be monitored by the number of calls to police, crime reports and non-crime ASB reports. This can be achieved by high-visibility foot and cycle patrols, vehicle patrols, targeted use of stop and search tactics, and target hardening through crime prevention advice via social media and working with RBK&C council. Ward officers regularly volunteer to change their shifts to late or night shifts and will look to use stop and search where appropriate. NPT will work with the local street enforcement team to enforce the PSPO utilizing partnership working with housing services to prevent behaviour.
