Current local priorities

• Burglaries- There has been an increase in burglaries including commercial and parcel theft offences. We will look to work with communities to prevent crimes as well as targeting offenders. Conduct high visibility and plain clothes patrols and operations
• Vehicle and Vehicle enabled crime- Though we have significantly reduced it, we continue to see high levels of vehicle and vehicle enabled crime. This includes theft from and theft of vehicles, thefts of cycles and thefts where the suspects are on eBikes, cycles and mopeds. We aim to tackle this head on and significantly reduce offending across the area.
• Drugs and linked ASB- Drug dealing and use is linked to wider crime including theft and gang violence. Drug hotspots are being identified with view of a targeted approach.
